Changes to my study programme

Honestly, I haven´t had a normal experience of going to university like I expected, because of the pandemic of course. So, I don´t think that I have full knowledge of the functions of my career in biochemistry in a normal context but anyways I can say that there are some courses that are not essential like others might be, beyond that I consider that the academic charge is well equilibrated until now, my fourth semester. So, if I must change something, it will be that I will focus more on the biochemistry courses than physics courses, but I also understand that the curriculum looks to create an integrated science mind in the graduate student. Fortunately, it hasn´t all been online platforms because all the laboratories of the curriculum have been in person, so, I’m very thankful for that and for the organization of the career to make it possible in a global pandemic. But not all has been great because online education requires too much self-learning and sitting all day in front of a screen with no social interactions naturally can discourage anyone, so, I think that the career must really encourage to be well executed remotely in case of future pandemics. In my experience in the laboratories, I think is where I learned the most, so, also, I think that the curriculum should add more of them in the first years of my career.
